Hazel Park’s own Heaven’s Maid has joined up with Wounded Warrior Project this spring in honor of Veterans across the country. Heaven’s Maid is launching a social media campaign targeting followers, customers, and businesses to donate to the Wounded Warrior Project this Memorial Day. All funds raised will go straight to helping Veterans thrive in life after injury, including traumatic brain injury, post-traumatic stress disorder, and physical injuries, as well as mental health, career counseling, and rehabilitative care.
Heaven’s Maid chose Wounded Warriors Project after an outpouring of customers seeking cleanings and floral arrangements for Veteran memorial and gravesites, and seeing just how many family members of service members turn to Heaven’s Maid to help them pay tribute to their loved one’s when they are unable to visit themselves due to distance, time, or disability.
In addition to fundraising, the Heaven’s Maid team comprised of immediate staff and Grave Tenders across the country will be donating fifty cleanings to Veteran memorials and gravesites across the country. In an effort to give back to the community, Heaven’s Maid and its team members want Veterans and their families who may not be able to pay for a cleaning to enjoy our services free of charge.
With the amazing year Heaven’s Maid has enjoyed with new customers and new partnerships, plans to give back to the community will continue throughout the year with campaigns announced via social media.
